Cwrt Rawlin June 16

Home / Cwrt Rawlin June 16

Children in Cwrt Rawlin only had a small 10 weeks (that’s 5 hours of interrupted learning) of a first taste of French before having to present some of their knowledge to parents and friends.

They learnt their greetings, numbers and colours, traditional French songs and the topic of Le Cafe, how to order sandwiches and drinks and exchange money. Juniors showcased typical dialogues between a waiter and customer, joining the infants to sing Frere Jacques in a canon. Infants also sang “L’arc-en-ciel” showing off their colour learning, and “Sur le Pont d’Avignon” to showcase action words they had learnt.
